Our braking systems provide the necessary safety
This order deals with the CD 1000 or 1100 series lathe.
They are for manual, cycle and CNC processing up to interactive contour programming and run an electrically switched ZF two-stage gearing attached outside of the headstock for high torques.
Our solution takes effect in two places:
The main spindle on this lathe can be locked in order to carry out milling work in addition to the main operation of turning.
For this purpose, our EB 255 brake is used, which locks this main spindle together with the machine's reduction gear for the time of the milling operation.
The pressure intensifier in the background ensures the appropriate dosage of the braking force.
The main spindle on this lathe can be locked to perform milling operations in addition to the main turning operation.
For this purpose, our EB 115 and RH 200 brake calipers are used, which lock this main spindle together with the machine's reduction gear for the time of the milling operation.
The machine operator can adjust the braking force by selecting one or more of these brake calipers via the machine control.
